Using MeteorComm 545 Packet Data Radios, environmental conditions from any site
can be reported as often as once a minute. This includes wind, temperature and landslide
monitoring with up to 256 parameters. Dispatchers are alerted when a hazardous condition
is detected, such as freezing temperatures, heavy wind gusts or slope instability.
MeteorComm radios are engineered and built to survive in the harshest environments,
from the extremes of a 16,000ft glacier to the rigors of a locomotive. To aid in
the management of large radio deployments and diverse applications, MeteorComm radios
can be remotely monitored and configured, reducing maintenance costs and minimizing
