MeteorComm’s core strength lies in our ability to provide robust and reliable
packet data networks. This has been our forte for almost 30 years. The two principal
technologies we use are Meteor Burst Communications (MBC) and Extended Line of Sight
(ELOS). These technologies are used to provide two distinct types of networks for
our customers. MBC allows long-range communications, up to 1000 mi, with an average
latency of a few minutes. ELOS provides real-time communications at ranges up to
30 mi. Each type of network has an open architecture for easy integration into a
customer’s operations.
MBNet 200 is the communications protocol that integrates all network elements and
provides information directly to the desktop computer, giving access to all assets
on the network.
