 The
MCC-545B Packet Data Radio provides communications in meteor burst networks and
ELOS networks. In the meteor burst network this unit is the remote and transmits
to an MCC-520 Master Station.
In the ELOS network, the software programmable radio can be configured as a base
station, a repeater or a remote (fixed or mobile).
The MCC-545B can be used for data collection, SCADA, sending and receiving messages,
asset management, position reporting or other custom applications. The unit's low
standby-power consumption (<1 watt) makes it ideal for operating in remote locations
where only solar power is available.
The MCC-545B has a built-in data collection capability so that an external data
logger is not required for those installations that have less than 10 sensors.
